Stop off at Lucy’s (a 24/7 joint) and get yourself a taco and a soda. Still hungry? Stroll up the block to the World Famous Oki’s Dog and get yourself some chile. In between is Roscoe’s House of Chicken n’ Waffles. Dawg, this is some of the best eating the ‘hood can offer – all the fixings included.

One night I was passing through to the “Beauty and the Beast” graffiti installation at 33third spot and realized what a mini mecca this two-block stretch is.

There’s the Vanité Hair Café if you want to get your weave on, etc. Laugh it up at the Delmar Comedy Union. Hang out with the hipsters across the street at Theater Theatre. Or you can bend your elbow with the mature crowd of the Cottage Bar. And lest I forget, there is nearby PIMPN TATOO.
